Although I am a FA, I tried the raw diet. It was very fascinating. I learned a lot of things and ate some really tasty foods. Im not much of a cook, so the preparations were much easier and I was able to put on some nice weight when I went raw. I started by eating things I already liked. More fruits and certain salads, a lot of water and sweet raw peanuts. From there I sort of experimented. I started to eat kale, tomato, carrots, and in time my tongue craved fresh vegetables over cooked vegetables. I was eating everything raw. My favorite things to eat were arugula, kale with raw peanuts and raisins, lemons in water, zucchini pasta, ripened papaya (very sweet), pineapple, apples, oranges, kiwi, fresh baby greens with raisins, and to get plenty of protein I would eat or blend about 1/2 cup of soaked and germinated quinoa in a smoothie. For a sweet tooth I would always go for fruit and some raw chocolate (organic cacao beans). I ate a lot of these things and this raw diet gave me a lot of energy and I was able to gain some nice weight in the process.
